Service
typenscheine.com presents the data of Swiss type approvals from FEDRO open data in a structured form, together with the scanned original type certificates as PDF where available. The information shown is not an official statement, not legal advice and not a guarantee.
Account and free look-ups
Key data (for example make, type, power, engine capacity), make and model overviews, result lists and the guides are available without an account. The full data sheet, the electronic data sheets (E-Datenblatt) and the original PDFs require an account with a confirmed email address. After registering, 3 free look-ups are available. Each new type approval number and each new electronic data sheet with a result counts as one look-up; anything already opened can be shown again at no further cost.
Subscriptions and prices
Monthly plan: CHF 2.90 per month. Annual plan: CHF 29 per year. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current term (in your account under “Subscription and invoices”). Payment is processed by Stripe.
You can delete your account yourself at any time once no subscription renews any more. If a subscription is cancelled but has not yet expired, the remaining term is lost without refund when the account is deleted.
Refunds and availability
There is no entitlement to permanent availability of the services offered. Refunds are only made where mandatory by law. Technical faults, maintenance or data discrepancies do not give rise to any claim for refund or damages.
Use
Use is voluntary and at your own risk. Accounts are personal. Automated bulk queries are not permitted. The operator reserves the right to change, restrict or discontinue content or features at any time.
Final provisions
Should individual provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Swiss law applies exclusively. Place of jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law, is Wolfhalden (AR), Switzerland.
